Most books and classes teach you the "Peel inside out and cube" way, but that leaves a lot of waste and is confusing for most people. After cutting thousands of mangoes for pies, smoothies, creams or just eating I have discovered a better way.

Peel mango in stripe pattern for maximum grip.
(Use a wishbone peeler for maximum control, speed and efficiency)
Cut off on end as a base
Cut off the two large face ends. Cut close to the flat pit.
Cut off the two thin ends.
Maximum mango is ready.
